Here is an interesting video of US congressman Dana Rohrabacher (R-California) defending the rendition and torture of suspected terrorists to two members of the European Union at a congressional hearing. When the guests from Europe respectfully disagree, Rohrabacher angrily retorts:
"Well, I hope it’s your families, I hope it’s your families that suffer the consequences [of a terrorist attack]."
If nothing else, this video demonstrates the total contempt the US Republican Party has for the constitution and the rule of law.
