I've written about the "journalist" Udo Ulfkotte over the years and was pleased that he seemed to have faded from view, disappearing into the pages of the 9/11 Truther Site of Kopp Verlag. Ulfkotte distinguished himself as a racist and anti-Islam hatemonger, demanding that all Muslims be deported from Germany in order to create more Lebensraum for ethnic Germans. For years he has been publishing articles and books that distort the truth, or are outright lies. A few examples: Ulfkotte claimed that Muslims were waging a "fecal Jihad" against Germans"because Turkish women were allegedly defecating in fields of strawberries that were exported to Germany. He warned Germans to stay away from the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, since black African "savages" were planning to rape and murder European visitors. Of course, President Obama is one those black African savages – or at least a 'half-breed" – whom he hates. He lied that Obama was persecuting Christians in the United States, and had given orders to burn Bibles. I could go on and on. Actually, I cannot identify any examples where the "journalist" Udo Ulfkotte reported truthfully about anything.
Ulfkotte was pretty much ignored by legitimate news outlets. Or he was derisively dismissed as a conspiracy nut. But two events happened last year that revitalized his career in fake journalism: the unfolding events in the Ukraine and the rise of the "Pegida movement". The Ukraine crisis allowed Ulkotte to latch onto the Russian propaganda outlets and accuse the Western media of being controlled by the CIA. Also the Lügenpresse! battle-cry of the Pegida protesters has given Ulfkotte a convenient cover to go after the journalists who scorned or ignored him in the past. Now he can lie about how the mainstream press is in the pocket of the CIA:
Dr. Ulfkotte says the corruption of journalists and major news outlets by the CIA is routine, accepted, and widespread in the western media, and that journalists who do not comply either cannot get jobs at any news organization, or find their careers cut short.
Ulkotte frequently interviewed by the Putin-controlled Russian media outlets, such as Russia Insider: Our Exclusive Interview with German Editor Turned CIA Whistleblower. He is also a favorite guest on Putin's global propaganda channel RT:
UPDATE: The fearless truth-teller Dr. Ulfkotte recently demonstrated his bravery by physically assaulting a teenage protester at an anti-immigrant rally in Offenbach.

Appearing on a Russia owned network does not disprove anything he says. All the networks are either owned by the state (BBC for instance) or by corporations with political allegiances. Wikileaks already proved the influence that the DNC has on American mainstream media. Now, does that mean that anybody that appears on these networks are outright liars? Most whistle-blowers and truth-tellers will appear on any network that will have them, regardless of what that network’s intentions are. Not everybody treats the truth like some kind of bargaining chip.
