Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg finds a home

Last month the "Cut and Paste" Baron zu Guttenberg slipped out of Germany with his family and moved to "The Land of the Free" to rebuild his ruined reputation.  No doubt he wants his children to experience American oligarchy democracy first hand, and apparenty they will be getting the full Wall Street treatment: 

Seit Wochen ranken sich Gerüchte um einen möglichen Umzug Karl-Theodor zu Guttenbergs und seiner Familie. Doch offenbar hat der Ex-Verteidigungsminister Deutschland bereits Ende August klammheimlich verlassen hat. Im US-Bundesstaat Connecticut soll sich Guttenberg ein drei Millionen Euro teures Anwesen gekauft haben – in einer noblen und ruhigen Gegend nahe New York, in der viele Hedgefonds und Investmentfirmen ansässig sind.

(For week the rumors have been swirling concerning Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg's moving with his family.  But apparently the former defense minister secretly left Germany already at the end of August.  Guttenberg has reportedly purchased a 3 million euro property in Connecticut – in a tony and quiet area close to New York, where a number of hedge funds and investment firms are based.)

Rumor has it that "Gutti" wants to write a book.  It that is so, he has picked a good location:  Greenwich, Connecticut has excellent high-speed Internet.  When he is not sipping champagne with his neighbors from Goldman Sachs, Guttenberg can cut and paste Web pages at his leisure.  His book should be finished in no time, and I know just the right publishing house that can bring it to market.
