Thilo Sarrazin's bestseller Deutschland schafft sich ab ("Germany Eliminates Itself") has yet to appear in English, but it is already a hit among intellectual white supremacists in the US. Steve Sailer, a well-known racist author and blogger, asks whether Sarrazin could find a publisher in the US, and his fellow right-wing blogger, James Fulford, is certain that Sarrazin's book would sell millions in the US – noting the success of the book The Bell Curve, which "proved" that blacks have lower IQ's than whites (Sarrazin cites The Bell Curve in his book).
Sarrazin's crude theories on the genetic inferiority of certain ethnic groups has been picked up by some right-wing writers as an argument against providing higher education opportunities to blacks in the US. Writing in The American Conservative, Paul Gottfried insists that "education is not for everyone" and cites Sarrazin's book to bolster his argument:
But there is another problem that needs to be addressed, and a book by the former director of the Deutsche Bundesbank Thilo Sarrazin Deutschland schafft sich ab (Germany Abolishes Itself) focuses on this issue more specifically. Sarrazin points to the fact that the majority of immigrants now coming into Germany are not Europeans but Muslims from Third World countries. They do not integrate well into the host society and exhibit little interest in finishing school or apprenticeships. This problem is not resolving itself. In fact after two generations, the immigrant families are continuing to fall farther behind the native Germans.
Just as Sarrazin found with Turks and Arabs in Germany, Gottfried notes that in the US "there are critical cognitive and cultural differences among groups and individuals and that no educational innovation or expensive equipment has been able to lessen these realities significantly."
Sarrazin underlines the difficulty of trying to fit into a modern, high-tech society people with few marketable skills and with insufficient discipline to pick up more. These people leave school as soon as they can but continue to produce social disruption and high crime rates. What exactly does one do about such populations, except to limit their further immigration into Europe? And what can one do about the ones who are already there, except to cut off their generous welfare allowances and to make them look for jobs?
Paul Gottfried is senior editor of the white supremacist eZine Alternative RIght, which recently took Sarrazin's theories to their logical conclusion and insists that blacks are not fit for "western style education":
As to educating Black children in general, personally I find it wrong-headed and misguided. Some are teachable and can achieve in White societies, but I would go further than advocating simple segregation, as many do not belong in an education system at all.
As I pointed out in an earlier post, Gottfried is also a fequent contributor to the neo-fascist weekly Junge Freiheit.

What passes for a white supremacist these days are interesting, Gottfried himself is Jewish. Many of the so called “White Supremacist” groups merely argue for equal justice under the law, which of course can not exist without freedom of association and rigours affirmative action. Someone like Gottfried would be apposed to all forms of forced segregation, forced integration and forced multiculturalism, but should not all of us be against racial stereotypes and laws enforced by the state? Or is it only individuals that should not have choices?
What passes for a Neo-Nazi is even more fabulous. Paul Gottfried has participated on many entire conferences by libertarians on topics as “economics of fascist” and “the cost of war” he is against imperialist wars and the centralisation of power.

There are hundreds of more examples I can quote, but in the end it is the writer of this articles responsibility to at least attempt to uncover the truth before making childish allegations. But then again I am a white South-African which would probably mean in this writers opinion that I should be exterminated as a “Neo-Nazi” by default just like little Willemien Potgieter the three year old white girl who was executed by black criminals and paid the ultimate price for her “supremacy”. Professor Gottfried has lent his name and his words to “Alternative Right” – a Web site devoted to the notion that human traits such as intelligence are genetically determined and in this respect blacks as a race are genetically inferior to whites. In an e-mail to me Gottfried expressed his agreement with this basic premise of “Alternative Right”.
In his e-mail Gottfried also blasts the black Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates, which leads me to believe that his (Gottfried’s) racism is fueled in part by professional jealousy. Gates receives international acclaim at America’s top university, while Gottfried is consigned to an academic backwater.
I’ve never put Gottfried in the “neo-Nazi” camp, but it is notable that his intellectual hero is Carl Schmitt, the Nazi jurist.
I wonder why you would choose to bring up the murder of a child to make your argument. Too many children are killed or abused everywhere by whites, blacks, and asians, but what does that have to do with their race?
David, I brought up the murder of a white child by blacks because this type of attack is common in SA and I knew that you where going to say: Why should it matter? It matters because it proves the stupidity of the double standards. An individual or private business would be racist if they don’t want to employ a black person and could face a hefty fine or very possibly bankruptcy if proved by a court of law and race quotas is prevalent everywhere nowadays. Yet a child murdered very possibly because of her race is of no concern(if she is white). If race does not exist then how the hell can racism permeate any society? Why is it, that racial quota’s should be needed for a race that does not exist when they are a minority, but if it is a white minority that does not exist in Africa there shall never be minority rights for them, because..well they don’t exist? To me it is funny to read about all these “diversity officers” all over Europe, I always wander why we don’t have any in Angola, Mozambique or Zimbabwe.
The reason something like the Alternative Right has emerged is probably because these type of questions has always simply been written of as …”Racist”. But what about a “white-supremacist” group like American Renaissance, what policies do they stand for? After some research I found out the only policy on race they would like to see from government is…Are you ready for the shock of your life?…freedom of association. Evil Nazi’s hay!!!
But I am more interested in Libertarian thought and analysis then race, so apart from a short e-mail correspondence how many of Prof Gottfried’s scholarly pieces did you listen to? Hell you don’t even have read the stuff man, you just have to listen. I bet you the answer is Zero!! The Austrian School is probably the most anti fascist and anti socialist out there; Prof Gottfried has done some remarkable research on Fascism for them and gave numerous talks on the subject that does not make him a fascist. I do think that if you want people to take you seriously you should follow the links I provided listen to all the talks and then give a more educated analysis.
Actually I have read some work by Hans Hermann Hoppe, the leading “thinker” of Austrian economics today. I was struck by his utter contempt for democracy and democratic institutions. (There is good reason why Hoppe, Gottfried and the other libertarians find themselves at 3rd-rate institutions.)
But Hoppe should be delighted that we have “Austrian conditions” in the US. Our supreme court just granted corporations the rights and privileges of individuals, so they can basically use their wealth to take complete control of our political process. The result is 50 million Americans without health care, crumbling infrastructure, dysfunctional schools and a huge disparity in wealth distribution.
Hoppe and Gottfried should be overjoyed that the “masses” they despise live increasingly in poverty with no hope for social advancement. This is the success of the unfettered markets….
It is also interesting that Prof. Gottfried proves very convincingly in my opinion, how much communism the Nazi’s absorbed into there ideology, simultaneously he puts fascism into contexts of the times and its search for socialist utopia he also shows how the early fascist movement was hailed by so called progressives and social democrats alike in Wester countries and how much fascism they again absorbed into there own movements and ideas of government. The modern state today is much more powerful then any fascist state ever was and Mussolini’s Italy probably was a very weak state compared to today’s American or German states. Again who is the fascist?

I myself have never read it as it is not my field of interest but you like many others deride anyone who dares to quote it, yet never does anyone give the name of scholarly works that disproves it sufficiently. Anyone who reads these words are then suppose to suspect such works to be complete works of fiction as well as any writing that quotes it in a manner not in line with the “”current healthy state ideology””. No you are wrong the book was published in 1981 with some critique of the bell curve added in the 1996 addition. This from Wikipedia – “Finally, Gould points out that he is not opposed to the notion of “biological variability”, which is the premise that heredity influences intelligence. Instead, he does criticize the notion of “biological determinism”, which is the idea that genes determine destiny and there is nothing we can or should do about this.”

What I would explain is the “race-conundrum” to explain my stance on Gould and the Bell Curve So here it is, I don’t give a hoot, I have met plenty intelligent black people and some really stupid white people. 1) Should government have the right to divide the population into ethnic and racial groups and then discriminate against an un-chosen group? 2) If your answer is yes, you are a Neo Nazi fascist scumbag. 3) as a consequence of the above, government(if the beast should exist) should never ever see anything but individuals. Individuals, private associations and community’s automatically then can discriminate as they see fit because government can not see a all white/black/Jewish/Muslim/Greek school or town, all they can see is individuals, equal before the law. 4) If your reaction is; “no, we cannot have that”, then my reaction is; “ok, how do you stop them.”

I’m glad you agree that human intelligence is not racially determined. That was my original point in criticizing Sarrazin and his followers.
I’ll concede to that, since I don’t have enough knowledge to make a statement either way about race and IQ, what I do know is it should not necessitate a government policy and nor should differences in wealth, employment or education achievement because if you attack the one but not the other with the same self righteousness, you are a close minded bigot. Calling Paul Gottfried fascist by association to prove your point is childish and after you enticed my appetite I had a look at the Alternative Right and I really like them, they accept views from anti-Semites and Jews alike, Christians and Odinist’s, they even interviewed a well known anarchist, how extremely open minded. If Sarrazin is saying that large scale immigrants will not integrate but vorm a separate Volk, he is correct and attacking him on a simple quotation on a correct/incorrect IQ assessment of people does not mean he is wrong on the rest; the very existence of my own volk is the most obvious proof.
I must qualify what I wrote by adding I don’t know all Sarazin is saying in his book, I do believe in open borders but you can’t have open borders and not legalize discrimination. You can have open borders or you could have your over arching nanny state but you can not have it both ways.
The central state historically only got interested in race and ethnicity after it lost the ability to use religion as a unifying factor or ideology to justify its existence and expansion. But when it came to ethnicity and race the fascist state never stopped, it just went full sirkel, by now denying that it exists because it poses a threat to the states supremacy and right to exist. I do not blame WN and racialists for thinking the world is anti-white because of what is happening in Europe, but there is no conspiracy-anti-white agenda; it is economics full stop.
