This is pretty funny. The far-left political party Die Linke has been losing supporters to the far-right party AfD ("Alternative for Germany"), so that after the recent regional elections it is now just a fringe party. The party leadership has been squabbling about the issue of the hundreds of thousands of refugees flooding into Germany. The core leadership still maintains an open-door policy while other party dissidents want to align with the AfD and deport the refugees. Is this a disagreement among thinking adults? No! says the influential conspiracy site NachDenkSeiten. This is the result of a massive CIA plot to undermine the German left. The internal party discord, says the conspiracy-theorist-in-chief Albrecht Müller, is "fremdbestimmit":
„DIE LINKE schafft es schon gut selbst, sich zu zerfleischen. Die Alpha-Tierchen der Partei agieren keinen Deut anders, als die in den anderen Parteien. Das wirft ein unschönes Licht auf DIE LINKE als Alternative.“ – Nur in wenigen Kommentaren wird angemerkt, dass diese Selbstzerfleischung fremdbestimmt sein kann.
"fremdbestimmt" means roughly "organized by outsiders" or, in this case "foreigners". We know who these foreigners are – agents of American imperialism controlled by the "Machtelite" – the "power elite" which is the code word among the German left for "the Jews".
What evidence does Albrecht Müller have that the CIA is meddling with the former Stalinist party "Die Linke"? Müller makes the case that left-leaning politicians such as Rudolf Scharping, Gerhard Schröder und Joschka Fischer were all quite critical of NATO until they visited the USA, where they were presumably brain-washed by the Americans. They returned to Germany as vocal supporters of NATO and Trans-Atlantic alliance. Presumably any politician or journalist that supports Western ideals such as liberal democracy has somehow been brainwashed – or bribed – by American intelligence.
Here we are on familiar ground for Albrecht Müller, who blames the American Machteliten for every calamity in the world – from 9/11 , to the Charlie Hebdo attacks, to the downing of Flight MH17 in Eastern Ukraine. Last year he announced he was writing a book with the title Der Tod kommt aus Amerika ("Death Comes from America"). Today his Web site NachDenkSeiten is very popular with conspiracy nuts, Putin loyalists and anti-Semites. Albrecht Müller was once respected as a cogent observer of politics and economics in Germany, but over the past several years he has become a laughing-stock. Now he is just an object of pity.

“power elite” (Macht-Elite) means a network that need not necessarily be controlled centrally (Powerfull media protagonists, Think Tanks, Powerfull Organizations…).
Albrecht Müller knows this exactly apparently unlike you.
Albrecht Müller has a distorted and infantile understanding of the United States. In his mind “America” and “CIA” are interchangeable.
With respect to “Macht-Elite”: I have seen enough videos of Albrecht Müller and of his friends Ken Jebsen, Werner Rügemer and Jürgen Elsässer to know that the concept is always coupled with names like “Warburg”, “Rothschild”, “George Soros”, “Larry Fink” , “Stephen Schwarzman” – we get the picture.
