Manfred complains that the feminist left has transformed Europe into a giant "nanny state" that coddles its people:

In Manfred's mind, this feminized state leads to a collectivist mentality where individual initiative is stifled. He even has a theory as to why America is much more "masculine" than Europe:

Manfred may have a point, if by "masculine" he means waging unnecessary wars, neglect of the health care and overall welfare of the population and the embrace of gun ownership. In that respect I suppose America is much more "masculine" than Europe. And no one was more masculine than our illustrious former president – George W. Bush – when he appeared on the aircraft carrier in flight suit and with codpiece to deliver his "Mission Accomplished" speech. Right-wing women swooned over the president's "manliness". Here was Senator Elizabeth Dole at the time:
striding across the deck, and he's wearing his parachute harness, you
know—and I've worn those because I parachute—and it makes the best of
his manly characteristic. He
has just won every woman's vote in the United States of America. You
know, all those women who say size doesn't count—they're all liars.

I think the election results in November 2008 showed that Americans were tired of this "masculine" culture and are ready for a change. Maybe Europe is not "feminized" after all, but rather "humanized"?

What examples can you give for the “decline and decay” of European society as a result of this “feminization”?
I can give many examples of how 8 years of neo-conservative “masculine” leadership accelerated the “decline and decay” of American society: 50 million Americans without health insurance, decaying infrastructure, failing schools, – the list goes on….
Masculinity is such a problem. In order to uphold the patriarchy it becomes necessary to periodically put on some kind of re-masculization event, such as a war.
This concept is well known in feminist theory, which I am sure MADfred has never read.
This shows “it” is working – let them keep killing each other off and mathmaticaly their numbers will go down. Let “Vic” of dogfighting and football fame arrange some arena fight to the death fights over at Arrowhead, charge admission & make money to put into tasdfhe city budget to pay for some things. This would be a win – win – win for everyone!
This was posted years ago – 2009 to be more precise. Bush and his neo-con policies (including how America pretty much became a police state under his administration) were a disaster, make no doubt it. However, here were are in 2016, and the feminized or, as you’d suggest, “humanized” culture has FAILED miserably in Europe and is failing America, just as anyone with half a brain would expect. Muslims have taken over European cities and are NOT integrating, women are being harassed by the same migrants they have welcomed, cities like Paris and Malmö now have no-go areas, the Eurozone and its socialism are an economic catastrophe, Britain is on the verge of breaking from the European Union, people are sick and tired of feminists and other Marxist collectives infiltrating every aspect of our lives, and Obama’s America is a failure in just about every aspect. I cannot help but feel a sense of vindication upon reading the comments from the liberals in this post.
